Yesterday my school celebrated Matariki.
We played music and other classes danced at different times.
We had to welcome another school called Te kohanga school and they joined us for lunch.
It was a very funny and exciting day playing around but we don't usually do this so it was amazing.
I think it is important for parents to come to things like this because they get to see there kids work on display and see what they have learnt.
It was a amazing day at school yesterday and I hope we can do it again next year.
