Hi again, Nia-Jaye! I really love your acrostic poem! Good job for adding such phenomenal words like 'incredible' and 'lovely'.
Your poem is one of those poems that really make you feel happy that these dazzling events happen. I really would like to see the Southern lights, but live in Auckland, and it doesn't happen here. There are absolutely high in the sky and make an extraordinary view. Your poem is so amazing and relateable.
Maybe you could give credit to where you got the photo from.
It's Leslie here, a member of the Summer Learning Journey team reading your blog from my home in Canada.
You've created a lovely acrostic poem - good for you.
I like your use of the words lovely and incredible, to describe the Southern Lights. Have you ever seen them in the night sky yourself?
We have the Northern Lights in my country, of course, because we're in the northern hemisphere. I've only seen them a few times because I live in the southern part of our country and they're most visible in the far north. They look like ribbons floating across the sky - just beautiful. And they can be in different colours which makes them even more special.
I hope that you're having fun outside this summer as well as in, doing these Summer Learning Journey activities. I'm so glad that you've chosen to participate in this program!!
