What are Taniwha:
Taniwha is the Maori word for monster.
I think Taniwha don't exists because It doesn't feel like there are any unless someone dresses another person into scary cloths. I am kind of 50 50 because it depends on what taniwha because some people call big animals taniwhas especially big fish! On this clip I think it is not a taniwha it might be a pipe that has broken maybe but I don't think it's a monster.
Kia Ora Nia-Jaye!
ReplyDeleteI like your writing on your opinion of taniwha. I have the same opinion as you, and you've made a great point about the broken pipe. Well done!
I think you really don't believe in monsters or scary figures, because you have such a strong opinion of not believing taniwha. I personally can't be convinced that a taniwha is real because I just don't believe in monsters, but you seem like it is just a big water breakage from a pipe, but underwater. Some people do call gigantic fish a taniwha, but in Maori it is a water dragon.
What is your favourite animal?

Hi Nia-Jaye!
ReplyDeleteThank you for sharing your opinion on Taniwha!
I think you are right, if they do exist and no ones managed to see or find one yet we are really missing out on some amazing creatures - I think there are probably a lot of animals in the world we don't know about though, especially in the water!
I think the times when I have felt like Taniwha's could truely exist is when I have been by lakes! There is something eerie about them and I could imagine, especially when you can't see the bottom, creatures swimming slickly through the water.
What do you think?
Do lakes give you that feeling too?
Great job with this activity Nia-Jaye, it's awesome to hear your thoughts and feelings on Taniwha and their possible existence!
Nga mihi,
Ellee :)
